Clear Waters exhibition for
The Freshwater Biological Association

Exhibition | brand design

The Freshwater Biological Association on Lake Windermere wanted a travelling exhibition system to engage the public in their oral history programme about Lake Windermere, called Clear Waters.

The trickiest part of the brief was that the system would have to work in very varied spaces loaned by other organisations such as museums, libraries and attractions. The first venue in particular,
at The Museum of Lakeland Life and Industry in Kendal, was absolutely tiny.
In response we sourced this supremely versatile system, which is flexible enough to bend to many different shapes and can even be split down into separate panels if required.

We helped the client sift through the wealth of fascinating material available to make five very accessible and interesting panels. We also designed a brand for use on the panels, signage and website.

"Evelyn is very experienced and knowledgeable, and went above and beyond what I would expect from a graphic designer or any contractor.
What I particularly liked was the collaborative relationship we had.
The FBA would like to express its gratitude for Evelyn’s design and general advice which was a key element in
this very successful exhibition launch
and tour. I would not hesitate to
recommend Evelyn for this type of work..
